Sunday mornings were meant for rain, soft music, good books, and staying in bed.
There’s a little boy sitting next to me on the train and he’s reading Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone and he’s so attentive and he’s smiling and he can’t be older than 10 and nothing makes me happier than seeing the younger generation reading.
I see you this and raise you a little old lady doing the same thing. She noticed me looking at her and she says “My grandkids can’t stop talking about this book. They said, ‘Nana you have to read it!’ Have you read it dear? It really is quite delightful!”
I love seeing the younger generation reading. I love seeing the older generations reading. And I love it when books bring us together.
